Bob Zeitlinger founded B To Z Communications, a full-service public relations firm after 15 years with major New York City agencies, and three years with KPMG LLP, one of the world’s largest professional services firms. During that time, Zeitlinger has helped a wide range of companies from an equally wide range of industries realize their goals through communications. 

At KPMG LLP, Zeitlinger was a key spokesperson for the firm, responding to daily media requests from high-level media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CNN and the CNBC. He also worked on major publicity campaigns for the firm’s Tax practice and its Work-Life initiatives. 

At Makovsky & Co., a top 20 mid-sized public and investor relations agency in New York City, Zeitlinger grew the technology practice from $600,000 to $2.4 million in yearly revenues in just three years. As senior vice president, Zeitlinger helped startup and established companies create and enhance their exposure through a range of communications programs. Among his clients were Telcordia (formerly Bellcore), the Securities Industry Association and 

Zeitlinger started his public relations career at Kahn Communications Group and Ruder Finn, which acquired Kahn Communications in 1995. At these two firms, Zeitlinger designed strategies for and implemented campaigns for high-profile accounts that included STP Car Care Products, Semiconductor Equipment & Materials International, COMSAT World Systems, Computer Horizons Corp. and the American Telemarketing Association. 

Before entering public relations, Zeitlinger worked several years as a journalist with several daily newspapers in New Jersey, including The Record, Asbury Park Press and Hudson Dispatch. 

Today, Zeitlinger works with a vast array of companies, including one of northern New Jersey’s top travel agencies, several New York City-based law firms, a customer relationship management software firm and an experiential marketing agency. Zeitlinger serves as an advisor to the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey and to Business Network International. 

Zeitlinger earned his graduate degree in Communications from Syracuse University’s prestigious Newhouse School, and his undergraduate degree in Journalism from Rutgers University.
